SUMMARISE
This Tour will visit most of the attractive sites in Phnom Penh from busting morning streets follow by learning about Khmer Rouge time to see the Killing Field and S21-Tuol Sleng Museum as well as the stunning Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda then crossing the steet to the National Museum is the historical and archaeological museum of the country. Last but no least, never foget to do shopping at the famous Russan Market.
TOUR ITINERARY
After having your first breakfast in Cambodia at your hotel, your tour guide will be ready for you in the hotel lobby the driving about 15km out of Phnom Penh, along the way will see the locals are on their motorbike carry big buskets and others carry big things and heavy to make a living. Proceed to see Beoung Cheoung Ek Memorial Museum (Killing Fields), and then visits the Tuol Sleng Museum (S21). First the victims are detained and tortured at S-21 prison (Tuol Sleng Museum), were transported to the extermination to death. Cambodian Government constructed a massive Stupa (Memorial Monument) to keep some of those skulls, bones and pieces of clothing for yearly ceremony to bring peace to the spirits of the deceased.
In the afternoon after having lunch (on your owned account) you will have a guided tour of the National Museum, the Royal Palace with the Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace contains some spectacular buildings such as the Throne Hall, the Royal Treasury Hall and the Napoleon II villa. Silver pagoda (Pagoda of Emerald Buddha), steps are crafted from Italian marble, and within the throne room the regal floor consists of more than 500 solid silver blocks it weigh about six tones. The currently king's residence is living in the separated hall.
The National Museum of Cambodia is Cambodia's largest museum of cultural history and is the country's leading historical and archaeological museum.
Never miss the famous shopping bazaar, Russian Market. Bustling market with vendors selling a wide array of souvenirs, clothing & other goods, you may need to purchase for family or friend. On the other hand foods are cooked and ready.
In the evening will experience to the Cyclo excursion along the Mekong Riverfront and passing Wat Phnom is significant of Phnom Penh and the Independence Monument was built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953, standing on the intersection of Norodom and Sihanouk Boulevards in the centre of the city.
